Some people have been lucky enough, or in some cases not, to get their hands on the PS4 early and they have come across issues. However there is a way to fix a bricked PS4.
Reddit pointed out that problem seems to be that even though there is a blue light pulsing on the PS4 when it is switched on, it will not load.
The PS4 hasn’t reached the shelves yet, but the media and winners of competitions have got their hands on them.
Sony hasn’t offered support for the issues thanks to the console not being released yet but Reddit has offered a fix.
They say that you should unplug the HDD, boot up the console without it so that it loads to safe mode and ask for the HDD. Switch it off and put the HDD in and boot it. The console loads into safe mode and then you can recover the OS data.
This news of course doesn’t bode well for anyone waiting to receive their console on launch date. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that millions of people are not going to have to turn to using this fix on launch day.
