Portal’s developers Valve has never hinted that there is going to be the third installment and there haven’t been any leaks that suggest that a third game is being made. So why do the fans think that the third game is going to happen eventually?
Most of them believe that a third game is going to happen based on the ending of the second game. At the end of the game, we see Chell in a field with a companion cube. Fans believe that Valve intended to make another game.
If that is the case, where is it? It was initially predicted that the Portal 3 will be announced this year and that we might be seeing a Half-Life 3 and Portal 3 game merge into one game but so far, there has been no news about the game.
