The Porsche Macan might be one of the most impressive cars to drive out there but it is also not one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles on the market. That is probably why Porsche decided to add in a more fuel efficient engine to the lineup.
According to Porsche, the Porsche Macan will now come running on a new 2.0 liter turbocharge four-cylinder engine that will be delivering about 252hp and 273lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a seven-speed PDK transmission and will be able to go from 0-60mph in 6.1 seconds.
With the new engine, the Porsche Macan will be offering about 20mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway which is still not the most fuel efficient model in the market but is better than what they were offering right now.
The Porsche Macan with the new engine will retail for $48,550.
