Porsche 911 might have a new rival to compete with if this new rumor ends up being true. It is believed that might be looking to come out with a true performance model to compete with the Porsche 911.
The BMW will be powered by a straight-six twin turbo engine that will be paired with a set of electric motors. It is believed that this combination will allow the BMW model to deliver about 500HP when it arrives.
AutomobileMagazine also reported that the BMW will come riding on the CLAR architecture, a lighter platform that will help reduce the overall weight of the vehicle. It is said that this Porsche 911 rival will be coming in 2018 or 2019 and will be wearing a BMW 6 Series badge.
We know that BMW has been holding it off for some time now but are they ready to fight now. If so should Porsche be afraid?
