Pokemon X&Y For PC. No, Your Eyes Aren’t Playing Tricks

Nintendo’s been all excited ever since it released Pokemon X&Y. Now, of course Pokemon is traditionally played on the 3DS, but it’s been revealed that some developers are working on ROM emulators for the PC, and even better, we might get a look at a stable version before 2014!

PC and laptop users are delighted about this, but one Neoseeker member is asking if an emulator capable of supporting the game will ever get released. Mods on this forum reckon we’re looking at nine months. The cloning of the 3DS mobile console to the PC happened on January 9 2013, months before the eventual release of Pokemon X&Y.

Some websites are already offering free Pokemon ROM downloads that feature 3DS emulators – this sounds too good to be legit, but some fans have ploughed on regardless. This is despite the websites having various pop-up surveys that are notorious for viruses.

A few users have reported a few usable sites that are offering downloads like this, complete with screenshots of the game in progress. Still, you’re best advised to be very careful before downloading anything. If you’re really keen, have a look at these sites – at your own risk.
