In a matter of months from now, Nintendo will be releasing the Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby. This upcoming game will focus more on mega-evolution, which explains why Game Freak is adding more and more mega evolution in Pokemon X & Y.
The latest to join the mega-evolution roster is Mega Metagross. The fan-favourite bug type Pokemon will join Diancie, Sableye, Sceptile and Swampert in having a mega evolution. Of course, they will all be ready in Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby.
Today, another announcement is made and it suggests that Slaking will be the next Pokemon to have a mega-evolution. The creature that is part of Norman’s team in the Petalburg city gym is certainly powerful.
Heck, Mega Slaking may as well be among the heroes in Omega Red and Alpha Sapphire’s storyline as Norman look to go against bot Team Magma and Team Aqua.
All in all, these new addition will surely be welcomed by the Pokemon community. The idea of Mega Slaking is truly intriguing and fans can’t wait to learn more about it.
