After months of delays, the Pokebank app is finally available in the US and Canada. The two nations were among the last to get the Pokebank as well as other regions who use US-made consoles.
Along with the PokeTransporter app, US and Canada players can now transfer their Pokemons into Pokemon X & Y. Additionally you must know that you can now access Celebi, so you haven’t missed out on it.
The Pokebank release date delays caused a lot of concern for fans who were wondering if Nintendo was purposely saving the North American market for last. Given the huge marketshare, they may have believed that leaving the US for last would allow the servers to handle the traffic. Now we will have to see if US and Canada players will be able to keep the Pokebank from crashing.
Update: And the Pokebank servers are down. We will keep you posted as more develops.
