Despite all the leaked details and information, Sony still has not confirmed the existence of an upgrade version of the Playstation 4 but it looks like we don’t have to wait for Sony to give us the answer anymore.
AMD might have just revealed Sony’s plan when they showed off their goals and plans for 2016 during the AMD Investor Days. According to AMD, one of their plan is a “new semi-custom business in 2H 2016”.
It was initially believed that they might be talking about Nintendo but it was later speculated that it could be Sony. Of course, this is far from a confirmation but it is all we have until Sony breaks the silence and start talking about the upcoming Playstation Neo.
It is believed that the Playstation Neo will come with an improve specs and that the update was mainly done to support the Sony VR.
