One of the problem Playstation 4 players seems to have with the upcoming Playstation Neo was the fear that the new console would end up dividing the players since the new console will be coming in with better specs but it looks like that is not what Sony had in mind.
It is believed that the Playstation Neo was released so that Sony will have a console that supports the upcoming PlayStation VR. That means those that own the original version of the PlayStation 4 might not be able to enjoy the new VR supported games but according to Sony, the Playstation 4 will be able to enjoy all the upcoming Playstation 4 games and that the Neo is there to complement it and not compete with it adding that the Neo will not be given any exclusives.
They also added that upcoming PlayStation VR will be supported both consoles. The new Neo will also support 4k content.
