We haven’t heard confirmation that PlanetSide 2 is going to be making its way onto the PS4, however a new video has brought some excellent news for those waiting to hear news, or so it seemed.
It wasn’t long after the video came out online that Sony Online Entertainment confirmed that the video footage was indeed a hoax. This means that fans are back to square one waiting to hear when PlanetSide 2 will be made available on the PS4.
A lot of gamers on the PS4 are worried about PlanetSide 2, as they are very excited to play the open world MMOFPS.
The video was posted on YouTube and was said to be gameplay footage along with a clip of the PSN Store. It had the game down to be released on May 26 this year.
The link which came with the video directed viewers to the PSN store to a placeholder for PlanetSide 2.
The video showed the game without a HUD, which suggests that it was recorded on the PC and the HUD was removed.
It has been said that PlanetSide 2 will come out in early 2014 and that it is compared to PlanetSide 2 on the PC graphically.
