Mitsubishi has been gradually losing its dominance in the automotive market. Despite that fact, the once great Japanese carmaker has been kept alive by unleashing awesome crossovers and the Mirage.
For the car enthusiasts, it is sad to see that Mitsubishi has stayed away from creating legendary vehicles like the Lancer Evolution. Nevertheless, that didn’t stop Steel Blake from trying to remind Mitsubishi of its glory days.
The independent artist from Kyrgyzstan has created a wonderful sports coupe concept that is revealed to be the next Mitsubishi Eclipse.R/SD. Blake took the structure of the fourth generation Eclipse and give it a modern touch-up with all the racing bits to it. The end result is a ferocious looking beast.
It is nice to see that Blake is able to produce a concept so real that it got us fooled for the real thing. On the downside of things, the Eclipse concept isn’t official which means that it wouldn’t get produced. This is unless Mitsubishi takes a good look at the work of art and somehow found their mojo in it.
