Motorola G 2013 owners have started to tell us that they have been receiving notification updates about Android 5.0 Lollipop coming their way soon. So if you have the handset you should be getting the notification very soon.
Some people believe that the update to Android 5.0 Lollipop is coming soon and the notification comes with the title of Future Update and is giving people the chance to confirm it by clicking on the More Info button. This then allows owners to check to see if they have the latest Motorola Update Services installed on their handset.
We did hear that Motorola said they were going to update recent handsets to Android 5.0 Lollipop and right now the only handset having issues is the Moto X 2013. It is thought that the delays are due to the Snapdragon S Pro processor. There are some owners of the Moto E who took part in a soak test and they have the update.
If you do own the Moto G and you haven’t got the update yet you should keep your eye open for the notification telling you about Android 5.0 Lollipop. At the moment we haven’t heard anything about whether or not the Moto X 2013 or the Moto E will be updated.
