Those thinking that they can just quit the game halfway through the match will regret not sticking things out till the end as Blizzard will be introducing a new penalty for leavers.
Of course, you will have to quite more than enough time to get penalize but here is what you will be getting if you leave the game before it is over. The penalty will be based on the completion percentage. Once that percentage fall below the line, they will get a warning.
If the warning is not taken seriously, the game will incur a 75% XP penalty for future games and the only way to get the XP to return back to normal is to play and complete enough games so that the completion percentage improves once more.
The completion percentage will be calculated based on the last 20 games you have played. There will also be an additional set of rules for Competitive Play.
