We know that Blizzard will not tolerate leavers in the game Overwatch but what about those that accidentally disconnects mid-game? Well, it looks like they too will be severely punished as well.
Now that the Competitive Play Mode has been released, we have been hearing more and more about players getting penalties just because they disconnected from the game. Under normal circumstances, the penalty will not be handed out to the player if they manage to connect back into the game but players have been reporting that they had been getting penalties even though they reconnect back into the game.
Well, Blizzard has now admitted that it is a bug and they are are working on a fix. According to Jeff Kaplan, the Director of the game, the fix should be arriving next week or at least they hope it would.
So bear with them for a little longer.
