So, the Oculus Rift ended up being a whole lot more expensive than what we thought it would and while we do accept the explanation given by the developer, there is no denying that $600 is a lot to ask for a VR headset even with all the goodies that comes with it especially since not everybody will have a PC that will be strong enough in the first place.
So before you pre-order the Oculus Rift, here are some of the requirements your PC will need to fulfil. It is recommended that the users have a PC that runs at least with the Intel i5-4590 processor with a graphic card that the Nvidia GTX 970 or AMD R9290 or higher and a minimum of 8GB RAM. You will need to have 4 USB ports ready with three of them being a USB 3.0 port.
The Oculus Rift package will come with the headset, a remote, one Xbox One controller, a sensor and two games. The device will be released on the 28th of March this year.
