Nissan has recently unveiled a new Sport Sedan concept and it is tipped to be the 2015 Nissan Maxima. By far, this is the best looking Sport Sedan concept which we haven’t seen in a long time.
The Maxima has the physique of a futuristic executive cars but the design is a sporty one. The concept has a pair of narrow triangular headlamps with a fierce-looking grille embedded in between them. The taillights are also shaped like a boomerang and it stretches over the side of the vehicle.
Aside from that, viewers should be able to spot some features that are brought forward from the Nissan GT-R. Among them are the creased fenders, slim roof and black-out A pillars.
As for the interior, Nissan kept the design simple and minimal. There is an infotainment system matted on the dashboard, leather seats and gauges resting behind the steering wheel.
Under the hood, the car comes with a 3.5liter V6 engine that can achieve knots to 60mph in 5.8s. Then again, Nissan never confirmed it to be the Maxima. Even so, the Sport Sedan concept will surely be an immediate challenger to the 2015 Honda Civic Type-R.
