The Nissan Leaf and Chevrolet Volt have been going against each other since the beginning and while the Nissan Leaf was once ahead of the Volt, it looks like 2016 might be the year for Volt as they once again dominated the month of May.
One of the main reason why the Chevrolet Volt is able to climb ahead of the Leaf might be because of the recent update that the Volt receive. The Nissan Leaf have been around for some time now and it does not look like Nissan is going to release an upgraded model anytime soon.
According to the reports, the Chevrolet Volt manage to sell about 1901 units of the Volt in May bringing the numbers of to 7871 units for 2016. So how much did Nissan sell?
Well, they manage to sell a total of 979units of the Nissan Leaf in May bringing their total sales this year to 4697 a huge drop compared to their sales last year.
