According to Nintendo, they do not want to repeat the mistake they made when they first release the Wii U console and that was why they worked so hard to make sure the Nintendo Switch will have a decent list of game line up before they started talking about it.
While there will be more games coming in the future, the Nintendo Switch will still start off slow with only 5 games to start with. The five games that Nintendo Switch owners will get to choose from will be the 1-2-Switch, Just Dance 2017, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Skylanders: Imagination as well as Super Bomberman.
The Legend of Zelda will most likely be the most popular option. Luckily, fans will be given a few more choices a month later as Nintendo reveal that six more games will be added before April 2017 ends.
The games that we will be seeing in April includes I Am Setsuna, Arms, Puyo Puyo Tetris, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Has-Been Heroes, & Sniperclips, Cut it out Together.
