The Nexus 5 has been amazing ever since it got launched late last year. The 2013 flagship phone from Google has been nothing short of impressive. However, it loses out to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and iPhone 5S in terms of sales.
It is unfortunate that the consumers have overlooked the Nexus 5. Like every other Nexus smartphones, Google will take the opportunity to show-off the latest capabilities of the Nexus phone; in which many other phone vendors will follow suit.
One of the Nexus smartphones is the pioneer for NFC. As for the Nexus 5, it is the father for the Android 4.4 KitKat. The Nexus 5 is an average looking device which packs a punch. It is well equipped with one of the best specifications around and it is also relatively cheaper.
It is cheap in a way that similar specs devices simply can’t match the price tag. It is disappointing that many consumers failed to notice this great device. It might not be a Note 3 or an iPhone 5S but it is the best value for money phone that can compete with those ranks without a hassle.
The average sales performance by the Nexus 5 could be due to the design. The Note 3 has a stylus to play around whereas the iPhone 5S is equipped with a fingerprint scanner. Perhaps it is simply down to the consumers’ preferences instead of the phone.
