There is a rumour going around that when Apple launches the next MacBook Air the design of it will be changed and it will have a fingerprint scanner power button along the lines of the iPhone.
The Apple iPhone has a fingerprint scanner on it so that you can unlock your phone and it is thought that this could be making its way over to the MacBook Air when it gets a redesign.
Along with giving you easy access to the device by scanning your fingerprint, which is of course unique to you, the scanner is also said to work with Siri. You could swipe your finger across the scanner to open up Siri and then give Siri commands. This would be much easier access to the Apple assistant on the MacBook Air.
