At this point, the Chevrolet Bolt’s position in the market is pretty comfortable but things might change later this year when Nissan finally brings in the new Nissan Leaf.
Fans have been waiting for Nissan to bring in their next-gen Nissan Leaf for years now and while Nissan has been suggesting that it will be happening soon, this is the first real release window that we have gotten from them.
According to Nissan, the new Nissan Leaf will be revealed this September and that it will go on sale before 2017 ends. They did not reveal much about the Leaf but most people believe that the new Leaf will be able to offer a lot more range compared to the current model.
To please their Nissan Leaf drivers, Nissan also announces that they will be extending the lease of the owners to close the gap between the end of their lease and the arrival of the new model.
