It is not the 25th of March yet and the HTC One 2 has already been unveiled through a leak. The leak came from @evleaks and like most other leaks from the same person; this one is the closest to reality.
The leak came in the form of images which revealed the HTC One 2 on AT&T and Verizon networks. It also revealed the colours coming with the HTC One. There are the silver and dark grey variants. The best part is that the leak tallies with the previous leak which involved the home screen of this highly anticipated device.
As for the specs, yet another leak revealed it to be running on a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip with front and rear facing 5MP camera. It will have features like NFC, HTC’s BoomSound speakers and many more. The HTC One 2 will have a 5inch display equipped to it offering resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Expect it to run on the latest Android Kitkat and 32GB of storage.
The damage is expected to be about UK$580 for the device without any contracts. The images might be trustworthy but when it comes to the specs, let’s just wait until the unveiling and hear it from HTC themselves.
