While we have already seen what the new version of the HTC One can do, right from the dual camera sensors to the uni-body, which is all metal. Now we have got the chance to see what the processor can actually do.
We have seen new photos on Weibo that have shown off some new angles of the device, with the most interesting of the images showing us some benchmark results from AnTuTu and this shows that the handset comes with a 2.26GHz quad core processor.
Results have shown that the HTC One clocks 38,000 points and the score beat most of the rivals which are on the market at this time, including the Samsung Galaxy S5, which managed to get a score of 35,666.
However both devices were benchmarked before the reveal of the devices and so you do have to take the numbers with a big grain of salt.
While it is still very early in the season for smartphones, each new handset coming out is moving up when it comes to standards.
The 64 bit processors and fast quad core processors are now passing some of the older processors.
When the original HTC One went through benchmarks it came in with 22,678 points.
The LG G Flex was also tested and it came out with 33,336 points on the AnTuTu benchmark.
For now we will have to wait until the release of the HTC One 2014, when it comes out on 25 March.
