The KitKat has finally arrived for the Samsung Galaxy S3. In specific, it Android 4.4.2 KitKat update is released to the AT&T variant of the Galaxy S3. The firmware bearing the build number I747UCUFNE4 will be the last update for the model.
It is worth noting that the KitKat for the S3 is really huge in size. This is due to the many features that are packed with it. You can check out the full list of features coming with the KitKat for the S3 below.
The release of KitKat for AT&T’s variant of the Galaxy S3 puts it in second place, right behind Sprint. The update is rolled out via OTA and users on the All-American network should get a prompt for the update.
If not, then users can manually check for the KitKat by going to Menu>Settings>More>About device>Software update>Check for updates.
