We haven’t heard much about virtual currency in NBA 2k14 for some time now. Over a period of two months, 2K released VC for the annual basketball games each week it seemed. Very early in the currency giveaway it was for owners of the PS3 and Xbox 360, followed by the PS4 and Xbox One. However recently it seems that the focus of the developers has been on the Xbox One and PS4. So have 2K given up on those who play on the current gen consoles?
Last Wednesday they launched more Locker Codes and once again they were for those on the PS4 and Xbox One playing MyTeam mode. This code gave gamers 20,000 VC points in MyTeam. If you don’t know how to redeem the codes check out the steps below.
– Go to the main menu
– Select Locker Codes
– You will enter the NBA 2K14 Locker Code that you have (Use All Numbers, Letter And Dashes)
– Go to Enter on the virtual keyboard and you will have your 20,000 VC points
If you want to get these points you don’t have much longer to get them as they will expire on 17 March. The code is N14PS-FINNQ-NE6LE-5XKUU-HW6CK.
The criticism about the game has died down somewhat following the release of the third patch. This may sound to be a good thing but the damage has already been done and there is no going back. Some gamers traded in their copy of the game in the weeks following purchase as they were fed up with the crashes and glitches. This led to the gap between 2K and LBA Live 14 closing a lot, although 2K still have the edge.
So which of these two games will you be considering buying if you haven’t already done so?
