There are rumours going around now that Motorola is under the ownership of Lenovo another round of devices will be heading to Verizon in the US. A source from China said that the Droid will be making an appearance this year and will have the same design as the handset that we saw last year. The same source said that Kevlar will once again be used in the design. One of the biggest differences between the Ultra and the Maxx was the size of the battery and the grip back of the Maxx.
When it comes to Droid handsets there is a lot more to come. We haven’t heard any details about what might be inside the device and there is no indication as to when it may arrive, except for during Q4. We can expect specs along the lines of the Moto X with the new Droid handsets.
