We are days away from this year’s MWC but Motorola couldn’t hold their excitement and decided to launch the second-generation Moto E today. The move caught everyone by surprise and now we can start checking out on what the new Moto E can offer.
Like its predecessor, the new Moto E is developed as a budget smartphone. It comes in two variants –LTE and 3G, while also costing at $150 and $120 respectively. In addition to that, the Motorola Moto E was launched to more than 50 countries worldwide.
Focusing on the new Moto E, the smartphone is powered by the newly developed, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. This is paired to 1GB of RAM, an 8 GB internal storage and 2390mAh battery. The latter will also be the source of power for the Moto E’s 4.5” QHD screen.
For a budget smartphone, it is quite exciting to learn that the device is going to run on a 64-bit chipset. Will it be faster?? Will It be more powerful? We are going to find out more on this very soon.
