At the start of the year a soak test was launched by Motorola for owners of the Motorola DROID Turbo and people began to say that this would be for the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. However we now know different as the update isn’t Lollipop; it’s something not half as interesting.
The update is now rolling out to Motorola DROID Turbo owners and it is only the system version update 21.44.12 and this brings with it a fix for the VoLTE bug.
So owners of the Motorola DROID Turbo are going to have to wait for some time yet before they see the update to Android 5.0 Lollipop. This might not be too bad though as owners of the Moto X and Pure Edition already have Lollipop and they have complained about bugs and issues with it.
