Motorola has finally launched the all-new, Verizon-exclusive DROID Turbo. At a glance, the smartphone looks weird with its tall and slim built. When viewing it from a certain angle, we somehow felt that the Turbo looks disoriented.
Then again, the DROID Turbo is not built to be a beauty but instead, a beast. Motorola has created the device to be something durable. The Turbo is built from either Ballistic Nylon or Metalized Glass Fibre that has DuPoint Kevlar for its back cover. This makes the Turbo 5-times stronger than steel and a smartphone that is perhaps, bullet-proof.
The special thing about the Droid Turbo is its battery, which is able to keep the phone running for up to 48 hours. Furthermore, the Droid Turbo runs on the best hardwares in the market right now, thus, making it a powerhouse. It has a faster processor, more memory and storage, a higher resolution screen and much larger battery than the Moto X.
In short, the Droid Turbo is something that is identical to the Moto X but only better with its hardwares. The smartphone is already being offered by Verizon and consumers will have to come up with $199.99 to get the 32GB variant on contract. As for the 64GB Droid Turbo, it is selling for $249.99 on contract.
