Motorola started to send out updates to owners of the Motorola DROID Turbo in January and there was a lot of excitement. This was down to people believing that they were going to get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Now of course we know different and owners are not getting the update at all as it was something else.
The update for the Motorola DROID Turbo isn’t Android 5.0 Lollipop, it is a system update that takes the device to 21.44.12 and with it comes fixes for bugs said to be down to the VoLTE bug.
So owners of the Motorola DROID Turbo will have to wait for some time to come before they see the Android 5.0 Lollipop update arrive on their handsets. However the news may not be too bad as owners of the Moto X and Pure Edition already have it and they have reported issues.
