The Motorola Droid Turbo users are currently the most frustrated smartphone users around as they are still stuck with the Android KitKat OS whereas rival devices have received the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
Last we heard from Motorola, they claim to be performing the soak test for the Lollipop update but that was way back in February this year. Ever since then, Motorola has remained very quiet and this left us with only rumours to get a status update.
The latest word is that Motorola is going to launch the highly anticipated Android 5.1 Lollipop update to the Droid Turbo on June 10. That is about a week away from now.
While it all sounds exciting, it is still based on rumours so it is best to take it with a pinch of salt. Even so, the Droid Turbo users can hope for the rumours to come true.
