Motorola has made it known that the Moto G will be getting treated to the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. The smartphone was released back in September last year and despite its young age; the Moto G came out with mid-tier specs.
As such, many are worried that the Moto G won’t be compatible, or fit enough to run the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop smoothly. On the other hand, not updating it with the latest Android firmware will only upset the many Moto G users.
This was the hottest debate last week and it forced Motorola to come out and share that the Moto G is compatible with the Android 5.0 Lollipop. The tech manufacturer added that the smartphone meets the OS minimum hardware requirement and can run it smoothly.
The Moto G is powered by the Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM and if Motorola claims that the specs is good enough, then there is no need for any further debate on the matter. Unfortunately, Motorola failed to share on when the Moto G will be getting the Android 5.0 Lollipop.
