The Motorola Moto G is one of the best smartphones from last year and soon, it will be receiving the highly anticipated Android 5.0 Lollipop update. The confirmation was made yesterday and it was greeted by a huge sigh of relief from the many Moto G users.
On the downside of things, Motorola failed to share on when the update will arrive. Looking at the previous KitKat update roadmap for Motorola devices, it was launched to newer devices first before reaching out to the older devices.
As such, it is safe to assume that the Moto X will be the first to receive the update. Within a month after that, the Android 5.0 Lollipop should arrive on the Moto G. Nevertheless, Motorola has already revealed that the update process will be completed before the start of February 2015.
