MLB 14 For PS4: Hints Of Controversial New Features

Monetary system is no longer limited to the living world. Even in games today, there is no way players can progress without meeting a certain financial requirement.

One great example is NBA 2K14 and its virtual currency. Insufficient VC points can hinder the player’s progress in the game. Now, it seems that MLB 14 is adopting the same gaming system.

Sony confirmed that MLB 14: The Show, will feature a virtual currency system. However, the way monetary works in MLB 14 is expected to be different from other games. Instead of prohibiting advancement without paying for abilities, things won’t be too strict in MLB 14.

Sony understands the importance of simming through matches and if that feature is to remain intact, then virtual currency will never be a road block for the players. The currency, called Stubs, will be utilized for Road to the Show Training Points, Franchise Budget and Diamond Dynasty Budget.

The game developer further added that implementing the currency this way will curb the need for microtransaction. Also, it pushes for the players to beat the game instead of buying their victory.

All in all, MLB 14 is the biggest baseball game to date and fans of this sport can enjoy the ultimate baseball experience.
