NBA 2K14 was among the launch titles for both the Xbox One and PS4 late last year. However, the highly popular basketball game turns out to be a huge disappointment as it is plagued by a major bug that prevents players from playing MyCareer.
Those frowns soon turned upside down after 2K was spotted giving away free VC points for the players to spend on. The in-game currency is also a core element for the players’ to progress.
MLB 2014: The Show will be introducing a new smarter system of gameplay but there is a risk that the game developer is forcing microtransactions into the game. However, the game developer did reveal that these in-game transactions using real-life money won’t limit the players. There is still that grinding option.
There is also the Universal Profile that will make the AIs study the player’s gaming patterns. This way, other players can fight with each other even when one of them is not present in the game.
In other words, the AI system will be making clones of the players which will make MLB 2014 The Show more challenging and interesting.
Nevertheless, we will know more about this and even get hands on experience once MLB 2014 The Show gets released this April the 1st for both PS3 and PS Vita. As for the PS4, it will be coming in May.
