The fans liked what they saw when Mini took the covers off the Mini Rocketman hatch concept and ever since then, they have been begging for Mini to turn it into a production model. Well, their dreams might come true now as Mini seems to be hinting that it might happen in the future.
When talking to Autocar, Mini product boss, Ralph Mahler pointed out that chances of the Superleggera happening is pretty slim right now but the chances of the Rocketman happening is much higher.
He also added that they are currently very inspired by the idea of EV being the way of the future. Does this mean that the Rocketman will come in as an EV model? Well, we can’t say for sure but many fans seem to think that it might be.
Of course, this is far from a confirmation but at least we know that Mini have not forgotten about the Rocketman.
