The PS3 and PS4 version of Minecraft had just received and update that will make it compatible with the newly launched DLCs. The update was launched by 4J Studio earlier today and once applied; gamers can purchase the Skyrim Mash-Up Pack and Steampunk Texture Pack without any worries.
Looking at the Skyrim Mash-Up Pack, it basically adds in the game’s map into Minecraft. Also, it allows players to create their own Skyrim-themed map and role-play as any characters from the highly successful RPG game. This DLC can be purchased for just $5.99.
As for the Steampunk Texture Pack, the DLC retails at $1.54 and it will add in many new designs that are inspired by the Victorian era industrial revolution.
Both DLCs simply has so much to offer to Minecraft players on the PS3 and PS4 consoles. As for the update they can be applied automatically whenever the player runs Minecraft while their console is connected to the internet.
