Playing the game like you are in it instead of looking from the outside should be a great new experience on its own but that is not the only new feature the Minecraft for Oculus Rift will be offering.
If you have tried out the Gear VR version of Minecraft then you probably have a rough idea of what the Oculus Rift version will be like but it won’t be exactly the same as Microsoft did make a few adjustment to improve the game further.
One of the differences here is that players will be controlling their characters with a keyboard and mouse. Players can also choose to play the game as first person game or they can exit the world and play the game through a monitor in a virtual living room.
Those with an Oculus Rift can test it out now for free. All you need to do is download the Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition beta. Of course, you will need to own the game first.
