We do often hear about console maker releasing upgraded version of their consoles to boost the sales of the console but this will be the very few times we see a console maker releasing a “new’ console that is actually weaker.
It has new been reported that Microsot might be working on a lightweight Xbox One. As the name suggest, it is believed that the lightweight version will come with a less powerful spec and that it will cost less to own.
With all the talks about the Xbox One in needs of better specs, going the other direction does not seem to really make any sense right now. If it is a weaker Xbox One, does it mean that we will be getting an Xbox 360 that will be able to play the Xbox One games?
It is believed that Microsoft will be announcing the console at E3 this year and they better have a very good reason behind it because the fans look more than ready to tear them down.
