Microsoft had a new rival to deal with this year as Apple decided to release a bigger Apple iPad Pro model. In terms of specs and offering, the Apple iPad Pro is not a direct Microsoft Surface Pro 4 rival but the fact is that those that opt to go for the Apple iPad Pro will not buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
With similar accessories like the keyboard, and the new Apple Pencil, and the Pro at the back, there is no doubt who Apple is targeting so Microsoft might want to get serious with their Microsoft Surface Pro 5 this year.
There are not a lot of details about the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 yet but it is believed that the device will come with a few upgrade like the charging Surface Pen dock on the device that will automatically charge the Pen so that users will not be running out of battery.
It was also reported that Microsoft plans to offer a fingerprint sensor on the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 tablet itself and not the keyboard. Of course, the standard spec upgrades is expected as well.
