We all saw what Google is working towards when they showed off the Project Ara this month. The idea that each component of the smartphone can be switched out is interesting so it won’t surprise us if the other smart device manufacturers do it as well.
The concept Microsoft Surface Phone you see here was created by artist Jonas Daehnert. Called the Microsoft Surface Phone Concept revision 3, this concept is a modified version of a previous concept that he has created. Unlike the previous concept, this one was given a detachable camera.
The idea is that the users can switch out the camera for something better if they wanted to. Almost like what Google plans to offer on the Ara. At this point, nobody knows if Microsoft is going to release a Surface Phone but it is generally believe that they will be releasing one.
