Apple and Google are constantly at each others throat but at the end of the day, you can say that what Apple and Google are offering right now is very similar. There might be one or two features that are unique to the OS but in general, both OS offers very similar features.
That cannot be said about the Windows 10 OS from Microsoft. In the past, it felt like Microsoft was trying to compete with Apple and Google by becoming like them but it looks like they’ve figured out that that is not the way to do it.
Their new smartphone, the Microsoft Lumia 950 Windows 10 smartphone is unlike what we have seen on Android and Apple. Instead of aiming to be the best smartphone, it felt like Microsoft’s aim was to create a PC that consumers can fit inside their pocket. The Windows 10 OS and the USB Type-C port helps make the Lumia 950 into something the Android and Apple is not.
With a few more Windows 10 devices up their sleeve, things are looking real good for Microsoft.
