It looked like things were going to get better for Blackberry when they released the new Blackberry Priv. People seems pretty impressed with the new Android-powered Blackberry Priv but it looks like they were not impressed enough to go out and get one.
The same can be said about the new Microsoft Lumia line up. Most of the reviews have been positive and with all the upgrades the Windows 10 OS have been getting, you would think that things would start to turn for the better for Microsoft and their Windows-powered smartphone but you would be wrong.
According to Gartner’s quarterly report, both Microsoft and Blackberry, things are definitely not going as planned for both these smartphone manufacturer. Microsoft sales when from 2.5% to 0.7% last quarter while Blackberry went from 0.4% to 0.2%.
Many blame the lack of apps for the downfall of the Windows 10 powered device and the limited offering of Blackberry for the decline. Is there still hope?
