Artists tends to go crazy when it comes to concepts and rendering for upcoming devices. The device seen here was created by artist Micheal Muleba. While we like how futuristic the Microsoft Lumia 888 looked here, the only way we can see it happening is if the users are willing to put on a headphone when they want to make a call.
Because with a shape like that, it would be near impossible to talk on. Of course, users can always choose to talk with the speakers on but that means the whole world will be listening to your conversation.
With a shape like that, not only will talking be difficult but it won’t fit well in your palm as well. The shape means there is no way this is going to fit into your pocket, not that the phones we have right now can easily fit in either.
