The fun part about looking at some of the new concepts that some artist has come out with is that we get to see some of the new designs that might or make not make it in the future. In the case of this concept design, we think there is a possibility it might have it in the far future.
With companies like Samsung and LG all working to come out with a flexible display screen, a curved screen is definitely possible. We have already seen more than a few devices with a curved screen although none of them curved outwards like the Microsoft Lumia 888 seen here.
The concept was design by artist Micheal Muleba and although we like where the artist is going, we also understand why there is no such smartphone in the market right now. Just by looking at it, we can see how hard using the phone will be.
Not only does it not fit well in the palm and talking on the phone and keeping it in your pocket is also going to be a nightmare. So while the design is possible, we do not think that smartphone manufacturers would come out with something like this.
