Most consumers would go for smartphones with larger screens right now but there are also a fair amount of consumers that still prefer to own smartphones that they can actually fit in their pockets and that is where smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy J1 and the Microsoft Lumia 550 comes in.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 which was released earlier this year will come with a 4.5inch display screen with 480 x 800 resolution and 207ppi. The device will be running on an Exynos 3 Quad 3475 chipset with 1GB RAM and 8GB f internal storage. The Galaxy J1 will also be fitted with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.
The Windows Lumia 550, on the other hand, was released in Dec last year. The smartphone will come with a 4.6inch 720 x 1280 display screen with 314ppi and will be running on the Snapdragon 210 chipset. Like all Microsoft smartphone, this will come running on the Windows 10 OS. It will also come with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage and will be equipped with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.
