It looks like we will be seeing a new hypercar from Mercedes real soon as they automaker confirm that they are currently working on a new hypercar.
According to Mercedes, the new hypercar is going to be an AMG performance hybrid model. Not only will their aim to give it a powerful powertrain but that will also focus on making it as fuel efficient as they can as well.
It is said that this new hypercar will come running on a 1.6 liter F1 powertrain. We have not seen automakers transfer their race track engine over to the public cars so it will be interesting to see how this all turn out for Mercedes. Of course, the public version will be slightly detuned.
The new hypercar by Mercedes will be coming in to compete with models like the McLaren P1, Porsche 918 Spyder as well as the Ferrari LaFerrari.
