It looks like the Mazda CX-5 has some leaking issue and Mazda still has not come out with a plan to fix it.
Mazda will be issuing a recall to recall back a total of 260,000 units of the Mazda CX-5 after it was reported that some models might have a leaking issue. If not fix, the oil leak can increase the risk of the car catching fire.
According to the report, the fuel-filler pipe can crack during a rear-end crash which will cause the fuel to leak and spill across the vehicle. The leaked oil might lead to a fire.
Affected model will be the 2014-2016 Mazda cx-5. Mazda did not mention what they will be doing to fix the issue but they will most likely be changing the fuel filler pipe.
Besides issuing a recall, Mazda will also be issuing a stop sale order to that they can fix the problem before the vehicle is delivered to their customers.
