Just recently, Mazda confirmed that they will be participating in the subcompact crossover segment with the upcoming CX-3. The mini SUV is currently in production and will be challenging the Nissan Juke when it gets released in 2016.
While that is still far away from now, Mazda has already revealed that the CX-3 will be based on the Mazda2 platform. The SUV will be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.
Today, we can get a rough idea on how the CX-3 will look like. World renowned independent concept designer, Theophiluschin, has shared his visualization of the CX-3 and it looks like the real deal.
There isn’t much to talk about the fan-made concept except for the fact that it looks like a tiny CX-5. It looks so compact that one can mistake it for a hatchback. Of course, this is something unofficial and won’t be how the real CX-3 will look like.
