Mass Effect Not An Xbox One First Round Exclusive

Bioware has already confirmed that they are currently developing Mass Effect 4 and the tentatively-titled game will be the first in the franchise to debut on both the Xbox One and PS4. Despite that fact, the game developer has yet to shed any details on Mass Effect 4.

This is until earlier today when a new report has surfaced to tell more on this highly anticipated game. It was revealed that Mass Effect 4 commenced development back in Q3 2012, right at the moment when Bioware launched the new Frostbite 3 game engine.

The latest gaming mechanism will allow Bioware to create a completely deep storyline that includes new gameplay mechanics which are made possible to run on the next-gen consoles. Furthermore, Mass Effect 4 won’t be making its debut on the Xbox 360 and PS3.

The report also highlighted on Microsoft exclusive deal with EA, which raises some fears among the gamers that Mass Effect 4 will be coming to the PS4 at a later time. It is revealed that the timed exclusive for Microsoft won’t be affecting Mass Effect 4. In other words, it will be released for the PS4 and Xbox One at the same time.

While it all sounds great, the information shared above is still something unproven and best taken with a pinch of salt. For starters, there are still many gamers on the PS3 and Xbox 360 that have yet to jump to the next-gen consoles. We are pretty sure Bioware won’t want to lose their profits by making Mass Effect 4 as an Xbox One and PS4-only game.
